Pulp City: Cold War

Created by Pulp Monsters

The greatest Supremes of the Cold War have returned to Pulp City set to pick up the fight where they left off.

Latest Updates from Our Project:

Free the Mascots!
over 10 years ago – Mon, Oct 26, 2015 at 06:21:16 PM

We are in the last week of the campaign and incredibly happy, proud and thankful where we are. You guys & gals rock!

So here's a gift for you, completely within the reach.

We will boost your Team Hammer and/or Team Breaker with a very special Minion if any of these teams get 150 backers at the end of the campaign. Cold War Pledge and Supreme Genesis count for both.

Both teams are at 140 as I am writing these words, so please share and spread the message!
The caged Minions are truly unique, they are a new breed of Minions called Mascots. All I can say is they boost the Leader and the Team in a very special way.

Will you help us get there? We still have almost a week to go and at least one more surprise for you. You didn't see that coming... I promise.

Production Update #1
over 10 years ago – Sat, Oct 24, 2015 at 04:03:13 PM

The first Kickstarter taught us a lot - we want to streamline the production process to an even higher level. Hence this week we had a production meeting with the casters to plan works. Resin production of powerhouses is already underway and production of everything else should start around 10th of November.

We also have test casts of clear resin - it is super difficult to photograph but looks awesome. We will make a choice after consulting with you whether to go with ice clear resin or tint it with blue. You will be the judge. For now, it keeps great detail and is super easy to clean - hobby knife leaves no scuffs, therefore it looks crystal clear.

Also, the remaining models for this campaign are being sculpted. The kennel is growing, I hope you like these cuddle bugs  :)  (Vladimir is more or less nail-sized!)

Have a great weekend,

Maciej & The Team

Spotlight on Spybreaker
over 10 years ago – Thu, Oct 22, 2015 at 10:34:34 PM

The indefatigable Leader of the Supreme Alliance is Spybreaker, the quintessential Hero Supreme. America's greatest hero, the man who became Spybreaker volunteered for an experimental process, to combat the emerging threat of enemy Supremes in war-time. He was the only survivor of the treatment.

In terms of game-play, Spybreaker is able to hit pretty hard with Shield Slam (an AP 2 Action inflicting Damage 2; EFX are Damage 1 and Knockback, or Extra Target 6). Enemy should beware when targeting Spybreaker as he is able to deflect Attacks to other models thanks to his Supremium Shield Action (AP 2).

Where he really comes into his own is organizing his Team through bonuses to Starting Rolls (as the game progresses his bonuses stack cumulatively; meaning he can compete with the best models in the game in later Rounds), and the ability to revitalize his Team by clearing Stun and Suppress from allies and Pulling them closer to him. Spybreaker is not indestructible though – enemies can wear him down when he has to rely on his Supremium Shield, but Spybreaker won’t make it easy for them!

Supreme Genesis Bundle Now Available
over 10 years ago – Thu, Oct 22, 2015 at 01:09:33 PM

Here again is another Add-On that you guys asked us for. Meet five new Supremes created by our players and now available to you. Add these new Supremes to your pledge for just $60.

Antaean: Level 3 Powerhouse (Hero / Mystery)

Strong, tough, and able to fly Antaean brings a lot to any team of heroes. He may be smaller than most other Powerhouses (40mm base) but only a fool would underestimate him.

Dr. Warlock: Level 3 Leader (Hero / Mystery)

England's premier gentleman sorcerer and master of magic. Dr. Warlock leads other Supremes against threats to Pulp City with class and style.

Bramble: Level 2 Infiltrator (Hero Villain / Nature)

This Sylvan predator stalks her prey through Pulp City. She's a member of the Settler's Green Faction and such has power over nature.

Crow: Level 2 Brawler (Hero Villain / Mystery)

Hero or Villain is often unclear when it comes to Crow. His prehensile hair allows him to crawl up walls and throw objects. But it's his psychic vamparism that is truly frightening.

Rath: Level 2 Brawler (Hero Villain / Nature)

Martial Arts master who has advanced his Chi to allow for telekinetic control of objects around him; most often his battle spear. What is he looking for in Pulp City?

All About the New Citizen Add-on
over 10 years ago – Wed, Oct 21, 2015 at 08:31:59 AM

New players – this add-on is perfect for you!

The New Citizen Add-on was created to allow players who are new to Pulp City and who want to play either Supreme Alliance or Red Republik (or both!) to get into the game as easily as possible.

This add-on is a great way to get into the game as it gives backers the full Pulp City SE (Supreme Edition) printed rulebook which has everything you need in terms of rules, as well as extensive background about the city that is home to all these Supreme vs. Supreme battles. In addition, the add-on includes Plot & Agenda cards, and Leader cards. The rules for these are in the Pulp City SE rule-book, but the cards make keeping track of everything a lot easier!

The new Citizen add-on will ship as soon as funds clear when the campaign is successful.
